Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kiloforge ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data across the applications and services we operate ("the apps"). It applies to all Kiloforge apps unless a specific app publishes its own supplemental policy.

What we collect

Account data

When you sign in we receive an identifier from your chosen sign-in provider — for example, your Apple ID (via Sign in with Apple, which may share a relay email of your choice) or your email address. We never receive your sign-in provider password.

Profile data

You may choose to provide profile details such as a display name, avatar, approximate location, and preferences relevant to the app you are using. These fields are optional unless the app specifically indicates otherwise.

Activity data

We store the content and actions you create inside the app — for example, items you save, content you mark as completed, notes, ratings, and any posts or messages you submit through in-app features.

Subscription data

If you purchase a subscription, payment is handled by the platform's app store (e.g., Apple's App Store, Google Play). We receive only subscription status (active / lapsed) from the store. We never see your payment card or store-account password.

Diagnostic data

We may collect anonymized crash logs and basic usage diagnostics to identify bugs and improve reliability. These do not include the contents of your activity data.

How we use it

• Personalize your experience based on your stated preferences
• Sync your data across devices you sign in on
• Verify subscription entitlement
• Diagnose crashes and improve the apps

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your location data for marketing.

Where it lives

Your profile, activity, and any content you create are stored in our backend infrastructure under access-control policies that ensure only you can read or modify your own records. Some data may also be cached locally on your device by the operating system's storage frameworks.

Authentication with third-party sign-in providers is verified against those providers' published keys. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing that interaction.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data only while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account from inside the app via the account or settings screen. Deletion removes your user record and cascades to your profile, activity, and any content you created. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

If you cannot access the app to request deletion, email hello@kiloforge.com and we will delete your account within 30 days.

Children

Kiloforge apps are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify users inside the relevant app. Continued use of an app after a change indicates acceptance.
